9th June 2023

Dear Families,

Welcome to the second half of Summer Term; how the year flies! Next week would have been Judith Kerr's 100th birthday. We are going to mark this by the Summer Picnic this Saturday (tomorrow) which I hope you can all attend. Please see the end of the newsletter for the full schedule.

We are asking each child or family to think kind things they can do. These could be random acts of kindness or planned interventions.

Some ideas:

  • share a joke
  • make your siblings bed
  • set the table
  • pick up some litter
  • give a compliment
  • smile
  • create IOU coupons for hugs

Then we ask that you record these and send them into school and we will record them in our 100 act of kindness book for each class.

Reminder: please can we have all the money raised from the sponsored readathon brought into school please. Please place money in envelopes and ask your child to give to their class teacher.
