Dear Families,
I hope that you are all having a wonderful summer break and, like me, are able to spend some quality time with family and friends. I wouldn’t normally send a newsletter in the summer break, but I wanted to give you some dates with sufficient notice.
Meet the Team Meetings:
In the first weeks of school, we will be holding a series of meet the team meetings where you will be able to meet your child’s year group teachers and hear a little about the curriculum offer-these meetings will be in the bottom hall and begin at 9 am. Slides will also be sent out for those who cannot attend.

Timings and What to Bring
A reminder that gates open at 8:40 and everybody needs to be into school by 8:50: all children from Years 1-6 will receive a reading book on their first day. A reminder that all children are expected to read every 'evening' and their reading logs signed.
We will have lots of senior leader outside across the first few days to help children with their new transitions and support them with where to go. See below for a reminder of where your child is going to.
PE will not start until the second week in.
Don’t forget to bring in your child's indoor shoes and new indoor plant for their new classrooms

Identity Unit
For the first three days; children from Year 1-6 will work on a whole school project look at identity: who we are as individuals, school values, working as a team, school behavioural expectations and people who inspire us. They will be creating artwork as a part of our whole school project of creating a school forest and creating work for their gallery work. This year the theme will be our tenth-year anniversary, and we will be creating our unique interpretations of Mog.
Wrap Around Care
Thank you for your perseverance with wrap round care-the office staff have now moved over Integris, so everybody should be able to log on. Anyone who has created new accounts will not be acceptable by our system and will need to use their email address that is on our system. If you have any issues please email the office, and they will get back to you.
A wee Request
If you have any pre-loved beanbags or lager pillows ( we have some lovely covers) that are no longer needed; please could you drop them off at the school and we will use them in our reading areas.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Wednesday at 8:40
Jo
