Friday 17th November 2023

Dear Families,

Odd Socks Day! The children had loads of fun today coming to school in their odd socks. Wearing odd socks is a great way to celebrate what makes us all unique in Anti-Bullying Week!

Thank you to all those children who completed their special acts of kindness to celebrate kindness day on Monday this week.

Kindness is our number one value at JKPS and to quote the Save The Children website - Kindness is a fundamental part of the human condition which bridges the divides of race, religion, politics, gender and location.

Wishing you all wonderful weekends!

Friends Corner

Happy Friday everyone! If you’re gearing up for Black Friday or doing some online Christmas shopping this weekend, remember you can use Easy Fundraising to raise free funds for us each time you shop - it’s an easy way to help the school out from your armchair. Head here to find out more.

It’s Christmas tree time again! Once again we are offering a great chance to buy a very competitively priced Christmas tree which can be delivered directly to school in time for the Christmas fair on 9th December. Please place your order before 30th November. A small amount from each sale will go towards the FoJKPS for school enrichment activities.

Our FoJKPS Christmas Fair is on Saturday, 9th December 2pm - 5pm. Can you come and help set up, or sell mulled wine, hot apple juice and cake? Sign up here to help out. We especially need cakes baking - at least 30 - and as many adult singers as we can find to start the carolling!

Our Christmas wreath making workshop is back. Join us at the school on Friday 8th December at 7:30pm. Come and enjoy some nibbles and drinks and learn how to create a fabulous wreath from the fresh foliage and accessories we will supply. £30 per person - reserve your spot here.
