We're very excited to be taking part in the Children's Literary Festival. The festival, in the heart of Herne Hill, is in its 4th year and features children’s poetry, performance, writing and illustrating, and is an opportunity to meet leading lights from the world of children’s literature who will share, create and celebrate stories in all their wonderful forms. We will share more details in our next newsletter.

Strike Action 1st February

Friday 10th February

Karneval and Writing Focus Day

The NEU have opted for strike action on 1st February. Although a number of our teachers will be striking, we think we will be keeping school open; with the exception of the Nursery. For parents of children in the Nursery, an email has been sent out today with details of the closure and options available for key workers.

On Friday 10th February we will be celebrating Karneval with a fancy dress parade at our morning assembly.

In the afternoon, at 2:30pm, we will be inviting all our parents and carers in to the classes to celebrate some of the writing the children have been doing. Details for each class will be in next week's newsletter.
