A warm welcome back to all our families this week. It has been great seeing the children get straight back into their learning this week, reenergised from their break. And there's lots coming up this term, particularly in the second half of term, so do keep a close eye on the dates at the bottom of this newsletter.
This afternoon in our assembly, we explored the story of St George following St George's day on Wednesday. We learnt about how important it is to stand up for what is right and how much courage this can take. And did you know, St George wasn't English.
For the Portuguese members of our community, 'feliz dia de liberdade'! Find out more about why 25th April is such a significant day in Portugal's history - click here. 'E buon 25 aprile' to our Italian community who might be celebrating Festa della Liberazione today. Both celebrations important reminders of why we should never take our liberty for granted.
