🌞🌞 The half term is flying by, with trips, concerts and activities galore. As ever, none of this could happen without the amazing support of the many parents across the school who chip in and help. If you want to get involved and don't quite know how, please drop Claire or Stef a message at fojkps@gmail.com and we'd be happy to have a chat. A bumper update this week as we reach the end of this term, and also prepare for the next. 🌞🌞
🧺🧺 Summer Picnic - join us for our annual Summer Picnic tomorrow from noon. Weather's looking great, we have homemade lemonade, cakes&waffels, hot dogs, Ghanaian food from Zongo's and a day filled with theatre, games, arts & crafts and, of course, Tug'o War 🙂 We would need a few more hands to man the arts and games stations and to tidy up so please give an hour of your time to volunteer. Kids are welcome to help their adult! Saturday 28th June12-4pm
Please sign up here to help make this day truly special for our children. Volunteers: https://signup.zone/KBqhRAMEzk6bFDvPN
👕🍻 Oktoberfest Merch and Competition - together with the launch of the T-Shirts and Hoodies on the website (https://www.fojkps.org/shop) we are excited to announce a fun photo competition with exclusive Oktoberfest steins for grabs for the 2 winners. 🧢🧢 Pre-loved Uniform - there will be a pre-loved uniform sale at the Summer Picnic 12-1pm. If you are not able to make it please send any requests to Claire Wren (07730-433-519). For the incoming Reception class there will also be a sale at the welcome picnic. Buying pre-loved uniform not only saves money, it also contributes to the Friends' fundraising and helps reduce clothes waste. Pre-ordered caps will also be available for distribution on Saturday, £11 each or 2 for £20 with the code ILOVECAPS: https://www.fojkps.org/shop/p/kids-school-cap
🐛🧑🌾 Gardening Day - The next gardening day is Sunday 6th July. There are lots of jobs to do to help get the garden ready for the summer. It is also a great chance for Reception children to play in the larger green space and get to know it ready for next year. 📚📚 Library - Thank you to all the volunteers for the library over the whole year. Over the summer we are planning a revamp of the library, including new shelves and some new books.
