We are pleased to announce that we will be opening a Nursery setting at Judith Kerr Primary School in September 2022.
We are planning to open in the second week of September (in line with the rest of the school) but are mindful that this may be delayed by existing building projects we have planned for the summer. In the current climate, building works can be delayed for many reasons (If this does occur, hopefully, it won't be for more than a week or two!).
What's on offer?
We are looking to offer provision to those families who require 30 or 15 hours a week. We will also be offering an Early Years breakfast club and wraparound care until 6pm.
Children are entitled to at least 15 hours' free provision in Nursery, starting at the beginning of the term following their third birthday. We can also offer up to an additional 15 hours for parents entitled to the Extended Hours Funding, which means a total of 30 hours of free Nursery provision. Parents who are not entitled to Extended Hours Funding can pay for additional hours themselves. To find out more about funding for Nursery places, please click the link below:
How to apply for a place
If you are interested in securing a Nursery place please complete an expression of interest form by clicking the button below. You will need to tell us how old your child is (to determine which term they will start), when you would like them to start and how many hours a week they will attend.
What happens next?
Once you have completed this form, you will be added to our waiting list and once our details have been finalised, we will email you admission forms and a Nursery information booklet.
We envisage that all will be finalised by the end of May 2022.
Please feel free to pass this information onto anybody in the community who you think might need this service.
