Uniform
We think that a simple, comfortable school uniform helps to create a sense of school community and avoids fashion competitiveness.
The JKPS uniform is very easy to wear and practical — based on the colours aqua blue and grey. Parents can mix and match items from the list depending on the weather, and whatever your child prefers — the most important thing is that they are happy and comfortable.
The school uniform is as listed below. The priced items are purchased from the school, all other items may be purchased from any high street retailer.
Payment for school uniform items is made via parents’ MagicBooking account prior to receiving purchases. Uniform can be collected from the school office on Thursday mornings.

- Dark grey trousers or knee-length skirt or pinafore
- White polo shirt or button shirt
- School sweatshirt or cardigan (turquoise, with JKPS logo)
- School hat or baseball cap in turquoise or grey, (optional) available from JKPS
- Black sensible shoes (buckles or Velcro fastenings, please, unless your child can tie his or her own laces)
- Children will need outdoor shoes (Wellington boots) to play in woodland and grassy areas (which can get very muddy) and indoor shoes to ensure our school stays mud-free
Summer dress
(optional variations from the start of summer term to October half-term)
- Grey shorts or skirt or blue patterned summer dress
- Black leather sandals
Sports kit
- School turquoise T-shirt with JKPS logo
- Black shorts or black track pants (no logos)
- Trainers for outdoors
- PE bag with school logo
Other equipment and clothing
A suitably sized rucksack or book bag (with school logo) are available.
Jewellery
Small stud earrings are permitted, but no other jewellery. Discreet bracelets and necklaces may be worn in class (though not in PE).
